#WeWriWa: Created by crazy in JAGER #GalacticDefenders #scifi #romance #scifirom

Weekend Writing Warriors personal

Welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Okay, this really is the last snippet from JAGER, the second book of my sci-fi adventure romance series, Galactic Defenders. I hope you have enjoyed them all. There are more Galactic Defenders coming, including GIB AND THE TIBBAR, which will be part of the upcoming Pets in Space 2 anthology: Embrace the Romance. Also, Jace will get his own story soon. And I have plans for Scrym, Pollux, Naf, Oflaria, and many more.

Set-up: Last week Jager learned that Jace and Katrina weren’t romantically involved. Well, that left Katrina available, and while locked up and naked, two consenting adults who already shared an attraction to each other became physically intimate. Well, their captor arrived to ruin the afterglow, removing Jager from the cell and shoving in a new cell mate for Katrina. I’m introducing this character, because she is important in JACE. (edited to fit)

Katrina eyed the sleeping green heap on the floor. As much as she wanted to kick the girl, smash her head in until she was dead, she couldn’t. Faith hadn’t asked to be created, hadn’t chosen to be a cross between the most vile creature in the universe and Katrina’s own ancestors. No, Katrina’s anger was with the woman who had created the girl, produced other Erebus-like creatures, then let them loose on the world.

Could the girl be related, though? If the crazy woman had fused Katrina’s DNA with that of an Erebus, Faith was some type of clone. Her sister from the crazy bitch.

How could she look so normal, yet like the enemy at the same time? The girl didn’t have completely red eyes ready to burn a hole through her, or any poison dripping from her mouth, had no body hair, only the fuzzy leaves on the top of her head. She could easily pass as just another race if brought to the attention of the Alliance, but not on Earth; she didn’t belong on this planet.

JAGER: Galactic Defenders Book Two

Jager’s new squad of Defenders has completed training, but the spoiled princess who has grated on his nerves since her first day of training is called back to Hemera for a yearly celebration. When Princess Katrina doesn’t show up, Jager must drag her home, where he wishes she would stay.

Katrina is a Defender, not a Princess. And there is no way she wants to return to a planet she hates for some stupid ceremony. Not when she could be out killing Erebus with her squad.

But when a new enemy threatens both their lives, they must work together to survive.

Mekai wants to leave a lasting impression. #MWTease from BEYOND REACH #scifi #romance #sfr #FREEread

Hello! Thank you for visiting me for another Mid Week Tease!

For today’s tease, I’m sharing a snippet from BEYOND REACH, a sci-fi erotic romance which is free this month at all major e-tailers.

Setup: Mekai is a prince who left his kingdom to experience pleasure on a faraway planet. There he met Nixie. And after one night together, he wants more…

Mekai didn’t think it possible for his cock to still be rock-hard, but the sensations brought by Nixie’s slender body under his proved otherwise. Yet his heart seemed to have swelled inside his chest. He knew he would have to leave her soon, but he never wanted to be with another, couldn’t bear the thought of her being with anyone else, either. For the first time, he considered settling down with a woman. With Nixie. For he had already loved her for years.

When she relaxed beneath him, he released her wrists, dragging his fingers down her arms and sides. Never had he met another like her. She’d left him sated and implanted herself in his heart.

I’m not sure how, but it’s my turn to leave a lasting impression.

With bittersweet fervor, he fed from the sweetness of her mouth. She dug her fingertips into his back, grinding her pelvis against him.

So tempting to just take her now. He could easily take pleasure from her feminine folds, but how would that make her feel special? Guys from all over the universe received gratification from her. But he wanted her time with him to be memorable, possibly life-changing. This had to be all about her, for her.

Sliding down her body, he sucked on one of her nipples while he ravaged the other breast with his hand. He couldn’t get enough.

She writhed beneath him, combing her fingers through his hair. But she still held back, reluctant to let go, to just enjoy as he tried to satisfy her.

“Nixie, relax,” he growled. “Or I’ll have to make a complaint. How would it look if your client was dissatisfied with your services?”

“You wouldn’t.” Her nostrils flared as she glared at him. “This isn’t part of my training, anyway.”

He kissed the tip of her nose. “I don’t want to be part of your training. I want you to be mine, my first.”

She gasped. “But you’re so…. You never?”

He shook his head. “I was taught to wait until I found the right woman.”

Her stare weakened and her bottom lip quivered. “I’m not her.”

Desperate to leave his mark on her soul, he kissed her, tasted her lips, her chin, and down her slender neck. He wanted more, but only if she agreed. “I think you are, and I’m willing to find out right now.”

Pressing her pelvis against him, she moaned. “Oh gods, I don’t know.”

He saw her resolve weakening, and waited. She had to give up all control. And I won’t give up until she does.

Running his tongue down her silky nakedness, toward her tender flesh, he spread open her legs and breathed in the evidence of her arousal. Nothing could ever be as tempting.

He drew his finger across the dampness between her legs. Perfect. So ready. Leaning down, he licked her swollen nub, his fingers traveling to the deeper heat within.

She bucked beneath him, thrusting her hips into the air. “Mekai, o…okay. I want more.”

As his name rolled off her tongue, followed by her desperate plea, he shivered. No way would he deny her request.

BEYOND REACH

Abandoned by her parents…

Born on Earth, Nixie was left on the planet Schedar when her parents returned home. Growing up on the pleasure planet, she follows in the footsteps of the woman who raised her, and learns the art of erotic massage. But Nixie yearns for a different life, one where she receives as much pleasure as she gives.

A runaway prince…

In an attempt to escape his arranged marriage, Prince Mekai flees to Schedar. For, he could never love his betrothed when he already loves another, a fantasy woman who invades his dreams every night. When the woman he seeks carnal pleasure from turns out to be the same one in his fantasies, he believes fate brought them together.

Fated lovers or forever enemies?

Just when Nixie and Mekai believe they have a chance at happiness with each other, they find out why their races are at war, and why they can never be together.

Interviewed on USA Today’s Happily Ever After blog #scifirom #sfr #romance

Shortly after Jager released, I was approached by Veronica Scott to see if I’d be interested in an interview about my new release, and other author topics. Of course, I agreed. 🙂 And last week, the interview was posted to USA Today’s Happily Ever After blog. It is part of Veronica’s regular column Sci-Fi Encounters, where she talks to many different Sci-Fi Romance authors. If you missed the interview, you can find it here:

I am very thankful to Veronica Scott for the opportunity! In the interview, I talk about my influences for Jager, who keeps my company when I write, what I’m working on now, and more.

#WeWriWa: Jager learns the truth about Jace and Katrina #GalacticDefenders #scifi #romance

Weekend Writing Warriors personal

Welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Here’s another snippet from JAGER, the second book of my sci-fi adventure romance series, Galactic Defenders.

Set-up: Last week Katrina was tortured in the dark, and Jager felt horrible for allowing it to happen. He ended up trying to help her, but got hurt in the process. Stuck in the cell together, they’ve grown closer, come to an understanding at least. And they’re talking… (edited to fit)

“Hopefully, your boyfriend and his squad can come to our rescue.”

She shoved his shoulder. “What boyfriend?”

Jager rolled his eyes. She couldn’t deny what everyone knew. “Jace. You two spend every spare moment together, and we all know what you’re doing when you sneak off to one of your rooms.

As she laughed, her hands bounced up and down on her tight stomach. “Jace; is that really what everyone thinks? Cosmos, no, we’re nothing more than friends.”
